ocr: YOUNG GALAXIES This vast region of space and time extending back to less than a billlion years after the big bang- saw much of the formation of galaxies and galaxy clusters. Seen below is the Hubble Deep Field, an image showing hundreds of young galaxies in a tiny patch ofsky.
